IFNI

The MS2 GNSS receiver is the official instrument of the Italian Carabinieri Forestali; the official guide is here. From 2025 it is used for precise positioning in the Italian National Forest Inventory (IFNI).

It was officially presented during the workshop on modern satellite positioning systems and GNSS surveying techniques, held at the Carabinieri Forestry School in Cittaducale (Rieti).
