SoluCAD¶
SoluCAD is a surveying plugin for the AutoCAD 2017 platform (not the LT version). The software and hardware requirements are the same as those of the full version of Autodesk AutoCAD© on the supported operating systems. It has to be installed on AutoCAD 2017 or on its vertical products (AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map 3D, AutoCAD Architecture)
Features¶
- download data from every instrument on the market, both total stations and GNSS systems (should your instrument not be supported, our team can help by installing new drivers)
- add new points and new polylines
- transform coordinates between the various mapping systems (WGS84, UTM and so on), create custom projections and handle the IGM (Verto) transformation grids in every format directly inside CAD, drawing the result
- handle every surveying and cadastral operation, even with mixed instruments from different makers, up to the creation of the type 7 lines and the export to PREGEO
- import and export shapefiles, Google Earth files, CSV and so on
- import georeferenced raster images
- fully georeference raster and vector images
SoluCAD is released as a demonstration version, which you can download by clicking here, with no feature limitations for 15 days. Any subsequent commercial use requires a licence. Write to us at solutop@gmail.com
Once installed it asks you to register by e-mail to obtain an activation code. If you buy a licence there is no need to uninstall the product: it is enough to enter the licence details in the dialogue that appears at start-up.
Note
Turn your antivirus software off during installation, then turn it back on. The demonstration version is always granted at SoluTOP’s discretion, and additional licences are agreed individually
Requirements¶
- Operating system: Windows 7, 8, 10
- Installation on 32-bit releases is not supported
Warning
To try SoluCAD you have to download the trial version matching your CAD platform.
Once it is installed, after starting SoluCAD for the first time (as system administrator) and initialising it properly (keyboard command “cdinit”), you are asked for an activation code for the demo licence; the code is sent to you as soon as you fill in the demo request form
